Local advocates to be celebrated at 4C for Children 50th Anniversary Champions Gala, Presented by PNC Bank
CINCINNATI, Aug. 10, 2022 – 4C for Children will honor its retired CEO, Sallie Westheimer, during the organization’s Champions Gala. The event, which is presented by PNC Bank, takes place Oct. 8 at Music Hall.
The gala will celebrate 4C for Children’s 50th anniversary serving Southwest Ohio and the Miami Valley as a premier resource for high-quality early education and care for the youngest children in our community.

4C for Children has received a $100,000 grant from the L&L Nippert Charitable Foundation to ensure that local child care providers can access the coaching and training resources they need to increase their Ohio Step Up To Quality (SUTQ) ratings.
4C for Children has received a $50,000 grant from the PNC Foundation to ensure that local child care providers can access the coaching and training resources they need to increase Ohio Step Up To Quality (SUTQ) ratings. This is critical support for child care teachers and administrators as they continue to care for and educate the youngest children in our community and support our region’s most vulnerable families by providing access to quality child care.
4C for Children is announcing the addition of four new members to its Board of Trustees. Each of these new members will serve three-year terms and collectively they bring a wealth of experience to the board and will provide leadership in helping further 4C for Children’s work in the community.
4C for Children Quality Programs Specialist Debra Chin has coached the staff at Youthland Academy in Milford for over 12 years as the staff has worked to increase the quality of the care they provide for children. As a result of this collaboration, Youthland earned it’s initial one-star Step Up To Quality rating several years ago and in July 2021, the program celebrated earning a four-star rating.
It’s official. The 4C for Children Miami Valley staff are on the move to a new office and will no longer be headquartered at the Kroc Center.
