          4C for Children to Recognize 50 Honorees

          Local advocates to be celebrated at 4C for Children 50th Anniversary Champions Gala, Presented by PNC Bank

          CINCINNATI, Aug. 10, 2022 – 4C for Children will honor its retired CEO, Sallie Westheimer, during the organization’s Champions Gala. The event, which is presented by PNC Bank, takes place Oct. 8 at Music Hall.

          The gala will celebrate 4C for Children’s 50th anniversary serving Southwest Ohio and the Miami Valley as a premier resource for high-quality early education and care for the youngest children in our community.

          Nominate an Extraordinary Educator

          July 29, 2022

          Do you know an early childhood educator or program administrator who is making a difference in the lives of young children and families? If so, nominate them for one of two honors 4C for Children will award at the annual Leadership and Early Childhood Conference on Oct. 21-22, 2022, at the Sharonville Convention Center. The deadline for submitting nominations is Sept. 30.

          4C for Children Receives PNC Foundation Grant

          February 16, 2022

          4C for Children has received a $50,000 grant from the PNC Foundation to ensure that local child care providers can access the coaching and training resources they need to increase Ohio Step Up To Quality (SUTQ) ratings. This is critical support for child care teachers and administrators as they continue to care for and educate the youngest children in our community and support our region’s most vulnerable families by providing access to quality child care.           4C for Children Board of Trustees Welcomes New Members in 2021

          Coaching Those Who Serve Our Youngest Learners

          August 30, 2021

          4C for Children Quality Programs Specialist Debra Chin has coached the staff at Youthland Academy in Milford for over 12 years as the staff has worked to increase the quality of the care they provide for children. As a result of this collaboration, Youthland earned it’s initial one-star Step Up To Quality rating several years ago and in July 2021, the program celebrated earning a four-star rating.           2020 Impact Report: Resilience in a Difficult Year

          When 2020 began, everyone at 4C for Children was filled with excitement at what we planned to accomplish in the coming months. Our financial outlook was positive, we were laying the groundwork for a new three-year strategic plan with our board, department goals were established, staff were focused on implementing new strategies to help child care providers meet the summer deadline to become quality rated and new ways to help families find quality child care options were being explored and integrated into our work.
