4C Coaching
Please note: In order to limit the spread of COVID-19, our offices are currently closed and all 4C for Children staff are serving families and child care programs remotely. Visit our COVID-19 Resources Page for up-to-date information.
The 4C for Children coaching program can help you develop and implement program management strategies that enhance the quality of care for children. 4C for Children’s Quality Programs Specialists use a collaborative approach to coaching designed so both the coach and participant share information and resources.
We offer many different types of coaching and most are free of charge. Coaching is typically one-on-one, but can be tailored for small groups. Types of coaching offered include:
- Leadership coaching
- Step Up To Quality (SUTQ) coaching
- Age-specific coaching (infant and toddler, preschool, school-age)
- CDA coaching
Not all types of coaching are offered in all 4C regions. Contact your local 4C office to see what services are available.

Join us twice-monthly, on the first and third Wednesday of each month, via Zoom, to connect with 4C for Children Coaches and your peers! These sessions are open to all Miami Valley and Southwest Ohio child care programs, center-based and family child care.
