Ohio Update: Family Child Care Programs Approved for Pandemic Child Care License
ODJFS confirmed in a webinar this afternoon that Family Child Care providers are eligible to apply for the new Pandemic Child Care Program License. As programs prepare for closure before the end of Wednesday this week as ordered by Governor DeWine, we encourage you to take one of the following two actions. Update for Ohio Child Care Providers: Essential workers defined and more
The upcoming closure of child care programs as ordered by Governor DeWine will take place beginning this Thursday, March 26 through at least Thursday, April 30. As you know, child care for essential workers will be provided through new Pandemic Child Care Programs. A guidance document is now available that defines essential workers.
