Unemployment Eligibility Expanded
Ohio’s unemployment system is now allowing persons who would not traditionally qualify for benefits to begin getting this help. The change applies to self-employed individuals, including business owners and some family care providers, AND individuals making under the necessary minimum.
Payments likely will not begin until mid-May. To learn more visit the ODJFS Unemployment website and click on the “Get Started Now” button.
