          November Declared National Adoption Month

          On Nov. 1,  President Biden declared this month as National Adoption Month. Following the declaration, Governor Mike DeWine and Lieutenant Governor Jon Husted signed an Ohio proclamation recognizing November as Adoption Recognition and Recruitment Month.

          School is back in session and your child is spending a lot of time away from home, so it’s only natural that you want to know how their day went. When asked the simple question, “How was your day?” most children respond, “good” or “fine.” As was a parent or caregiver, that short response doesn’t give you much insight and may make it more challenging to get more information out of them.
