Nicole Malveaux to lead programs and services to local families
Nicole Malveaux has been named 4C for Children’s new Family & Community Services Strategic Director.
For the past year, Malveaux has served as a manager in the agency’s Quality Programs department. In her new role, she will plan and lead the agency’s delivery of programs and services to families and the community. Chief among those services include helping working families connect quality child care options that best meet their needs through the agency’s child care referral program as well as recruiting and supporting foster, adoptive and kinship care families.
“I am ecstatic about the opportunity to lead in this role,” Malveaux says. “My career has been devoted to ensuring the most vulnerable children and their families have access to education and other resources that promote self-sufficiency. I look forward to continuing that great work in this new role.”
Malveaux, who holds degrees in business management and is currently working towards a masters in adult education and training, has more than 10 years experience working with families through Head Start, a federally funded school-readiness program.
“We are thrilled to have the opportunity to have someone with Nicole’s breadth of experience and passion lead our core services to families,” says Vanessa Freytag, president/CEO of 4C for Children. “She has done a phenomenal job for the past year leading efforts in our Quality Programs department. I’m looking forward to seeing the equally great strides she will make as our newest strategic director and the impact these services will continue to have on families and children in our community.”
A native of Louisiana, Malveaux lives in Middletown, OH.
