4C for Children has successfully partnered with Cincinnati Early Learning Centers (CELC) and Children, Inc., on early childhood programs over the years that support families and children in the region. On Aug. 23, these two early childhood organizations announced they will merge and form a new agency, Learning Grove.
“These are two excellent early childhood organizations,” says Vanessa Freytag, president and CEO of 4C for Children, “and we’re excited about what opportunities this merger will create as we all work to ensure children and families get the early childhood education supports and programing they need.”
Learning Grove will be led by Shannon Starkey-Taylor of Children, Inc., as Chief Executive Officer and Patti Gleason of CELC, as Chief Operating Officer.
“Both Shannon and Patti are tremendous leaders and innovators and we look forward to continuing to partner with them in the future as they launch Learning Grove,” Freytag says.
The merger is planned to be completed at the end of this year.
