Thousands of children are in need of nurturing and supportive homes. More than 16,000 kids were in foster care in Ohio in the 2023-2024 school year, but only about 7,300 families are licensed in the state.
If you are thinking of beginning your journey as a foster caregiver, 4C for Children, partnering with the Western Ohio Regional Training Center and Ohio Department of Children and Youth and YWCA of Northwest Ohio, will present information sessions at a virtual conference Oct. 16-17.
