          A Hub Linking You to Early Childhood and Community Resources

          4C for Children, as the state-designed resource and referral agency serving Southwest Ohio and the Miami Valley, is the hub of information and resources to empower child care providers and help families thrive.

          This Resource Library brings together 4C for Children resources for child care providers and families and community resources that can help anyone with specific needs connect to services that meet basic needs and improve quality of life.

            • Supports kinship (formal and informal) in addition to post-adoptive families with resources.

          Butler County

          • Hope’s Closet
            • Boutique for foster, adoptive, and kinship children. Assists foster caregivers with support groups, foster processes, and approved foster training.

          Champaign County

          • Hope4Good
            • Works with kinship families to connect them to needed resources across the county.

          Hamilton County

          • Jacks Closet
            • Boutique specifically for foster and kinship children. Includes clothing and other essential items.
          • Kids In School Rule (KISR)
            • Provides opportunities for children in JFS custody who attend Cincinnati Public schools.

          Logan County

          • Raising Arrows
            • Provides clothing, toys, and gently used items for foster and kinship families.

          Montgomery County

          • The Abiding House
            • Transitional housing program for individuals who have aged out of the foster care system and may be facing homelessness and other vulnerabilities.
