The current professional development (PD) biennium comes to an end on June 30, 2023.
This means all administrators, lead teachers, assistant teachers and family child care providers working in Step Up To Quality star-rated programs must have completed 20 hours of Ohio Approved training.
If the training requirements are not met, child care programs could potentially lose PFCC payments, the PFCC families being served and SUTQ star ratings.
Child care programs should make a plan to ensure staff have completed all required training by June 30. 4C for Children has gathered some steps to help get started.
