Parenting Hot Topic: Toys for Your Child

          December 3, 2020

A young child wearing a blue shirt is holding a baby doll wrapped in a white blanket and gently putting a pacifier in the doll's mouth.Toys are an important part of every child’s development. It can sometimes feel overwhelming when considering what kinds of toys to purchase or create for your child.

Toys should spark their imagination and foster their interests—and it would also be great if they didn’t get bored with them after five minutes! But it’s also important to consider if the toys are age appropriate and safe.

Here’s some resources that can assist in your search. And keep in mind: The best toy doesn’t have to come from a store. Some really fun toys can be created using everyday household items.
