4C for Children will share interviews with this year’s Champions for Children over the coming weeks. This is an opportunity to get to know the outstanding individuals who will be celebrated during the 4C Champions Gala at Music Hall on November 4.
“When I got on the call and they said it was an award, there’s an amount of emotion that came over my body. ” Anna said. “It was like I’m making a difference and people see it.”
Anna is the Director of the 5-star rated Ally Child Care Center and advocate of quality child care.
She has worked as an early childhood educator since graduating from Sinclair Community College in 2012 with a degree in early childhood education. Anna started her career as a lead teacher in a Pre-K classroom, eventually becoming director of Ally Child Care Center in 2021. In just 10 months, she led Ally Child Care Center to a 5-star rating in Ohio’s Step Up To Quality rating system.
The center’s mission is to create a love of learning so children become lifelong learners and Anna works to fulfill that mission by creating the most engaging and positive environment for children, families and her team. Led by Anna’s example, staff build strong and engaged relationships with families through consistent communication and by always going the extra mile. Anna lives in the Dayton region with her husband, Dustin, and children, Anthony and Kaitlyn.
