PD Biennium: Where Do Your Hours Stand?
The current professional development (PD) biennium comes to an end on June 30, 2021. This means all administrators, lead teachers, assistant teachers and family child care providers working in a SUTQ star-rated program must have completed 20 hours of Ohio Approved training by June 30. How do you check your number of hours that you have left to earn? How do you know if you have completed the two required courses for all professionals? The U.S. Small Business Association (SBA) has confirmed that those who are self-employed (such as family child care providers) can use their gross income instead of net income in applying for the maximum amount allowable under the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP).
