4C for Children Announces New Vice President of Agency Advancement

          March 24, 2026

CINCINNATI (March 24, 2026) – 4C for Children, a child care resource and referral agency serving families and child care providers throughout Southwest Ohio and the Miami Valley, is pleased to announce Whitney O’Neal, CFRE, as its new Vice President of Agency Advancement.

In this role, O’Neal will lead the agency’s strategic efforts in fundraising, community partnerships and organizational growth. As a member of the agency’s executive leadership team, she will also work closely with the board of trustees and community stakeholders to strengthen resources that support high-quality, accessible child care for families across the region.

“Whitney brings an impressive breadth of experience in strategy and development that will help propel 4C for Children into our next phase of growth,” says Dean Woodring, president/CEO of 4C for Children. “She understands the impact that community support can have on the lives of families and children and is bringing a great deal of passion to 4C’s mission. I’m so grateful to have her on board!”

O’Neal comes to 4C for Children with extensive executive leadership experience in fundraising strategy and execution as well as in forging community partnerships. Before launching her own consulting firm last year, O’Neal served as chief executive officer at the Cincinnati Scholarship Foundation, regional gift planner at Ohio Living and director of advancement at Villa Madonna Academy.

“I have spent much of my career dedicated to children, education and supporting families, so I understand the critical role that quality child care plays in our communities,” O’Neal says. “I am thrilled to join 4C for Children to apply my skills to this mission, build upon the incredible foundation laid before me and accelerate the exciting forward momentum under Dean Woodring’s leadership.”

Stephanie Byrd, chair of the 4C for Children Board of Trustees, adds that O’Neal’s “depth of experience and track record in leading successful fund development strategies across multiple sectors aligns with the strategic direction envisioned for the organization. Her knowledge of the Greater Cincinnati community will also be an asset as she builds on 4C’s strong history and critical mission.”
