Learning & Fun at Our Annual Conference

          November 2, 2026

We welcomed more than 500 early childhood educators to the Leadership & Early Childhood Conference on Oct. 23-24. The event featured nationally-known keynote speakers, dozens of educational exhibitors, interactive training sessions and gave attendees the opportunity to connect with their peers.

          An Unmissable Event

Child care program director Seth Cornelious described the conference as “an annual refresh in terms of what my passion is for working with young children and their families.”

Other attendees said they met new colleagues who will help them add curriculum in the classroom, learned new techniques to integrate into the classroom and celebrated fellow educators.

          Educators Celebrated With Special Awards

Two of those educators were Cheryl Spencer, owner/operator of TOTally Kids Learning Center, who was awarded the June Sciarra Early Childhood Leadership Award and Sonya Woods, owner/operator of Touched by an Angel Learning Center, who received the Early Childhood Educator Award.

After accepting her award, Sonya told educators who may feel like they need support: “Any provider that feels disconnected… be present in it, stand in it, learn in it and come to 4C for Children. They have what you need.”
