CINCINNATI – 4C for Children, the local nonprofit agency dedicated to supporting families and child care providers through resources, referrals, and advocacy, proudly announces the appointment of Stephanie Byrd as chair of its Board of Trustees. The agency also welcomes four new members to the board: Liz Keating, Donna Miller, Stephanie Rizzuto and Kimberly Satcher.

Byrd, American Red Cross regional CEO, Central & Southern Ohio, has served on the board since 2020. She brings a deep commitment to early childhood education and a proven track record of community leadership. In this role, she will guide the board’s strategic direction and support the organization’s mission to ensure that all children have access to high-quality early learning experiences and quality care.

“I’m honored to take on this leadership role at such a critical time for families and child care providers,” said Byrd. “I look forward to working closely with our board and leadership team to advance equitable access to child care in our region.”

“4C for Children’s board plays a vital role in shaping the future of early education and care in our community,” says Dean Woodring, 4C for Children’s president and CEO. “We are thrilled to welcome these accomplished leaders and are confident their guidance will help us better serve families, providers and our entire region.”

For more than 50 years, 4C for Children has served as a trusted resource for families seeking child care and for professionals working to create safe, high-quality learning environments. The agency looks forward to the new perspectives and leadership these board members will bring.
