          Preventing Power Struggles in the Classroom

          Description:

          Preventing Power Struggles is a training designed to help teachers create harmonious learning environments through successful classroom management. We will explore topics about but not limited to conflict resolution, behavior management and building relationships with your community of learners. We will focus on a multi-step approach that includes identifying when a child is on the verge of a meltdown, learning their triggers, how to successfully intervene and bringing the child back to a safe learning environment. We will include ideas and resources from many well known techniques used by early educators in classrooms around the country. This training will be a great addition to your teaching tool box whether you are at the beginning of your teaching journey, or have been teaching for years.
