Child care providers: You are essential! We are pleased to see the recognition of your amazing efforts through Gov. DeWine’s Hero Pay initiative. As shared by ODJFS, child care providers may be eligible for Hero Pay, dating back to October 2020 and through September 2021. You can receive $300 per quarter up to a total of $1,200. First quarter payments will begin in mid-July 2021.
If you are eligible, you are able to see this information in your Ohio Professional Registry Profile (OPR), Hero Pay Tab that will appear in your account. On this tab, you will be able to see such information as:
- Which quarters a professional is eligible for;
- Link to complete the Payment Portal (must be completed to receive payments); and
- Quarterly payment information
