CINCINNATI, June 20, 2023 – 4C for Children will celebrate four honorees for their support and commitment to early childhood education at the 2023 Champions Gala, presented by PNC Bank, on Nov. 4 at Cincinnati Music Hall.
Gala attendees will salute the following Champions for Children for their ongoing support of 4C for Children and the mission of providing quality child care and early childhood education to every child in Southwest Ohio and Miami Valley:
- Anchor Fluid Power – Cincinnati-based philanthropic partner, corporate volunteer and supporter of 4C for Children’s mission. Donating more than $50,000 in recent years, providing more than 200 hours of volunteer leadership on the agency’s Board of Trustees and through their own fundraising events benefitting 4C for Children.
- Anna Campbell – Advocate of quality child care and director of the five-star rated Ally Child Care Center in Centerville, Ohio. Anna has led her center and its dedicated teachers to continually work toward increasing their own professional development and expertise that ensures quality early learning and development experiences for the children in their care.
- Kimberlyn Fadare – Owner and director of Uniquely Diz-ains Daycare, a newly opened, five-star rated family child care program in Trotwood, Ohio. Opening a child care program during the pandemic became a personal mission for Kimberlyn to meet the needs of the community. While many programs were forced to close their doors, Kimberlyn followed her calling with a belief that she had the knowledge, capacity and passion to help serve the youngest children in our community at a moment when they needed it most.
- Christine Gibson, Ph.D. – Cincinnati children’s book author, early childhood educator, curriculum designer and educator supporter. Dr. Gibson has dedicated her life and talents to every corner of the early childhood learning experience. Using every ounce of her talent and passion, she has worked to create resources and content, train and equip other early childhood professionals through her knowledge and skills, as well as directly teach and care for children in child care programs earlier in her career. Her service to the early childhood community is all encompassing.
PNC Bank will again serve as presenting sponsor of the event and has generously donated valuable experiences towards the fundraising success of the evening, including the opportunity to bid on throwing out an opening pitch for a 2024 Cincinnati Reds baseball game.
“As a national main street bank, it’s important to us to support the communities where we live and work,” says Warren Weber, PNC regional president for Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. “Investing and advocating for high-quality early education is a logical extension of PNC’s commitment to the community and we’re honored to return as a presenting sponsor.”
Founded in 1972, 4C for Children is the designated child care resource and referral agency for a 15-county area in Southwest Ohio and the Miami Valley.
“The entire 4C for Children team is excited to dedicate the evening to recognizing the Champions who are supporting this organization and advancing the work of educating and supporting adults who care for young children,” says Vanessa Freytag, president & CEO, 4C for Children.
The 2023 Champions Gala will begin at 6 p.m. with a cocktail reception followed by a gourmet dinner, presentation of the honorees, live auction and after-party. Attendees will enjoy the opportunity to bid on once-in-a-lifetime opportunities and dance the night away to live music and other festivities.
