Parenting during a pandemic is an unfamiliar space for families. As the adults in the family are feeling the additional stress, strain and challenges that come with COVID-19, our children are experiencing stress, strain and challenge too.
Taking stock of our emotional wellness can help navigate through these uncharted times. Emotional wellness, as defined by the National Center for Emotional Wellness refers to an “awareness, understanding, and acceptance of your emotions, and your ability to manage effectively through challenges and change.”
