Act Now for Ohio Families and Children

          November 14, 2023

The Biden-Harris Administration recently requested $16 billion from Congress in supplemental federal funding to sustain the child care sector and provide an additional year of child care stabilization funding.

COVID relief dollars for child care programs have decreased child care expenses for families, which helped women with young children re-enter the workforce and boosted the wages of child care workers. This loss, without additional support, will likely lead to elevated prices, reductions in the supply of care and will force some providers out of the market completely.

Families, children and other child care providers need your help!

Email your Ohio Congressional delegates to tell them to include the supplemental funding for child care.
