Data Specialist, Family and Community Services

4C is seeking a customer-focused data management specialist to be a member of our Family and Community Services team. This full time specialist, based in Dayton, will develop and maintain tracking systems for the delivery of services to families with young children.

Responsibilites will include maintaining accurate information in program databases, collecting and organizing family records and providing customer service to families enrolling in services. The right candidate will have significant IT experience with strong organizational and problem solving skills, is a team player who is flexible and creative, and has excellent communication skills—written, verbal and listening.

Requirements: Associates degree or BS/BA preferred with data entry training; minimum one year related experience; experience using I.T./data systems for research, resource navigation and record keeping; excellent customer service background and demonstrated organizational skills; the ability to analyze and interpret all relevant data and documents

Family Engagement Specialist

4C for Children Family and Community Services Department is seeking a Family Engagement Specialist whose main responsibilities will be engaging families and community partners in early learning and child development activities in Fayette, Clark, Preble and Greene counties.

This full-time position based in our Miami Valley office will focus on assessing the needs of families with young children and developing opportunities for families to access supports and resources for supporting children’s school readiness and healthy development. Duties will include facilitating Play & Learn groups, providing parent education and connecting families to quality early childhood programs through in-person resource and referral services. In addition, this position manages relationships with key stakeholders, provides community outreach and assists with the development of programming to meet the needs of vulnerable families—those living in poverty, experiencing homelessness or have English as their second language.

A successful applicant will have a bachelor's degree in early childhood education, social work, family studies, or a related field, as well as have at least two years professional experience. Knowledge of parenting, diverse family systems, adult learning principles and experience with public presentations strongly preferred.

Development Officer

4C for Children is looking for a talented and dynamic fundraising executive to join our growing Agency Advancement team. The Development Officer will provide leadership in expanding 4C’s base of individual and corporate donors to increase charitable support for the organization and ensure a sound financial future. This full-time position is based in our Cincinnati Office. Key responsiblities include managing and growing all aspects of the organization’s annual Gala in order to achieve revenue targets, as well as managing the organization’s Annual Giving program including individual and corporate donor accounts.
