Description:
Respect is typically seen as something that is earned in most cultures. Many do not realize the value of respecting infants and toddlers. Respect can be seen as an abstract concept that can be interpreted in many ways. Participants will discover why respecting infants and toddlers is important to their holistic development and how to implement respect in the classroom in practical ways. Participants will utilize role-play to practice respectful interactions and group activities to compare different views of respect.
