Observing infants and toddlers at play, learning and during routines provides critical information on the child’s development and interests. It also guides the teacher in providing effective activities, creating learning opportunities, developing lesson plans and staging an appropriate environment. Participants will explore ‘why, when and how’ to properly observe, and will conduct practice observations.
