Description:
This interactive 2-hour face to face workshop focuses on the importance of understanding the role of trauma informed care in early childhood with an emphasis on children and families. By also focusing on children coming into placement care with a new family, often are moved out of the existing child care or school they are enrolled. We will discuss basic awareness of the why” behind the behaviors children in foster/adoptive/kinship care may exhibit, due to existing and past trauma.
