Description:
Child abuse touches every community. Would you know what to do if it happened to one of the children in your care? Be aware of the physical and emotional signs of abuse and know what your responsibilities are as a provider. Learning about this important subject and how it can prepare you to relate to the abused child and abusive parent in an effective and sensitive manner. This session meets licensing requirements for the child abuse course required by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS).
