topLeadership Coach

Purpose of Job:

Under the supervision of the Coordinator, to provide specific services to directors in Hamilton County licensed child care programs and to complete reports required by funders and 4C.

Qualifications:

  • Combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelors degree in early childhood education or a social service field.
  • At least three years of experience managing projects
  • Knowledge of child development.
  • Knowledge of adult learning theory
  • Reliable transportation.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Coordinates all activities of the leadership coaching project according to established criteria of the contract.
  • Engages in marketing and outreach efforts to identify and recruit child care programs to receive on-site technical assistance services.
  • Provides on-site technical assistance including: observing and assessing administrative practices; mentoring and role modeling.
  • Assists early childhood administrators in developing and implementing quality improvement plans.
  • Recommends appropriate training and resources to support the goals of the quality improvement plans (QIP).
  • Collects, prepares, and maintains information needed to ensure satisfactory progression and completion of quality improvement/professional development plans, or for statistical data necessary for reporting purposes.

topChild Care Counselor
(also referred to as Parent Counselor)

This position is shared between our Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati offices

Position Category Non-exempt
Responsible to: Director, Parent Services
Purpose of Job: Under the supervision of the Director, to carry out the program of the Child Care Resource and Referral Service.
Qualifications:
  • BS/BA in Early Childhood Education or higher and related experience preferred.
  • Ability to relate to a broad spectrum of parents and child care providers.
  • Excellent communication skills and record keeping skills.
  • Solid computer skills required.
  • Reliable transportation required.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
  • Provides counseling and referrals on the selection of child care and on parenting issues.
  • Updates child care resources, collects and tabulates data, and conducts follow-up interviews with parents.
  • Manage assigned employer/special contracts.
  • Participates in community outreach activities and agency projects as needed.
Other Related Duties: As Assigned
Starting Salary: $22-24K, Excellent benefits.

topCounty Office Specialist, Butler and Warren Counties

Purpose of Job:

Under the supervision of the Director, to develop and manage programs and services of the county offices and to carry out the program of the agency to complete reports required by funders and 4C.

Qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or social service field.

Ability to relate to parents, child care providers, legislators, and the business community

Strong communication and organizational skills

Key Areasof Responsibility:

Oversees implementation of ODJFS management plan and other 4C goals in Butler and Warren county offices

Coordinates county office efforts with the main office, particularly related to identifying child care needs in the county and devising improved ways to meet the needs.

Develops services and works with other agencies to help solve the child care needs in the county

Works to increase the supply of care in the county through recruitment activities targeted at potential family child care providers.

Manages all resource and referral service and professional development activities for Butler and Warren counties.

Provides telephone and walk-in counseling and referrals on the selection of child care and parenting issues at the county office.

Participates in community meetings and activities representing the agency’s mission

Coordinates outreach activities that increase consumer awareness of 4C
