New Policies in the New Year
Changes affect workshops in Southwest Ohio, the Miami Valley and Northern Kentucky

To improve the delivery of 4C workshops, effective Jan. 1, 2012, no latecomers are admitted into workshops after the scheduled start time. This policy ensures the best possible professional development experience and upholds the commitment that 4C has to the states of Ohio and Kentucky for accurate training credit.

If you arrive late to a class, you will be given a document that will verify that you attempted to attend the workshop. In some cases you will be able to request a training credit or transfer to make up for the missed workshop. Refunds will not be given for missed classes due to late arrival.

New series begins in March in Clermont County

Developed by the nationally-known Families and Work Institute (FWI) in New York City, "Mind in the Making" offers a first-of-its-kind approach to translating what we know about how young children learn into realistic application in program practice.

A set of 12 learning modules, each focused on a specific area of child development and learning, articulate the findings and insights of the nation's leading researchers in the fields of neuroscience, psychology, child development and education. Over six sessions, this series transforms years of complex research into a series of demonstrations and hands-on activities perfect for the classroom!
