Employee Benefits Specialist

4C is seeking a professional benefits administrator to support staff with benefits enrollment, claims issues, FMLA leaves, and policy interpretation. The ideal candidate brings passion for customers and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks both effectively and efficiently. The specialist will need to be detail-oriented and be invested in building trusted relationships with staff and benefits vendors. Their collaborative work style will foster employee understanding of benefit programs. The specialist will think strategically and creatively to enhance agency benefit offerings. This is a full-time position based in our Cincinnati office.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. One year related work experience and/or training preferably in benefit plan administration.

Specialist, Quality Programs - Cincinnati

Due to ODJFS requirements for obtaining a quality rating by 2020 and 2025, 4C is seeking qualified candidates to assist our Southwest Ohio Quality Programs team to help child care programs obtain their initial Step Up To Quality rating and their Child Development Associate Credential (CDA). This is a full-time position based in our Cincinnati office. Candidates will also need to demonstrate mastery of adult learning theory and have experience in community relations and customer service. This role requires reliable transportation and routine work some evenings and Saturdays.

Requirements: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Human Development and Family Studies, Human Ecology or related field; minimum three years of experience in early learning and development and/or school-age settings; minimum of two years of experience working with adult learners; must be (or meet the requirements to become) an Ohio Approved instructor.

Specialist, Quality Programs - Dayton (Full-time)

This is a full-time position, based in our Dayton office. The ideal candidate brings passion for supporting those who provide oversight for child care centers. This individual must be able to communicate effectively with diverse audiences both verbally and in writing. The specialist will function as a Step Up To Quality/leadership coach: leading networking groups and delivering on-site coaching to support administrators in improving the quality of care provided. Some evenings and Saturday availability required.

Requirements: Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field; experience working as an administrator in a Step Up To Quality rated program is required.

Child and Adult Care Food Program Specialist

The quality programs specialist will provide coaching to child care programs in both the Cincinnati and Dayton area who participate in the Child and Adult Care Food Program. The specialist will be responsible for building relationships with early childhood professionals, collaborating with other team members to meet the needs of the community as well as staying on top of the latest research and best practices within the field.

This is a full-time position, based in our Cincinnati office. The ideal candidate brings a passion for supporting those who work with young  children, primarily in child care centers.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in early childhood or related field; three years experience in early childhood education; knowledge of administrative systems and attention to detail is a must. Some evening and weekend work may be required.
