Vice President, Agency Advancement

4C for Children is looking for a talented and dynamic fundraising leader to join our executive team. The Vice President of Agency Advancement will lead the agency’s strategies for charitable support and the agency’s marketing and communications plan. This full time position is based in our Cincinnati office.

Some of the minimum requirements include:

  • Minimum of 10 years experience in development and marketing preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years experience leading a non-profit organization’s development program preferred
  • Demonstrated track record of developing and closing six figure gifts
  • Experience with donor database software—Raiser’s Edge experience a plus

Areas of responsibility include:

  • Lead a team of five development and marketing staff
  • Develop and lead 4C’s development plan to meet the agency’s strategic goals and objectives including strategies for annual giving, special events, major gifts, corporation, foundation, United Way and government grant revenue
  • Oversee the agency’s marketing plan working with communications staff to execute marketing strategies for defined key audiences
  • Manage a portfolio of prospective major gift donors with defined tactics for identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship
  • Lead digital fundraising strategies including the utilization of Blackbaud’s Luminate software

Technical Support Specialist

Based in our Cincinnati office, this is a full-time IT position for an energetic individual interested in hands-on experience in many areas of IT, particularly help desk, maintaining inventory, performing hardware repairs, installing and updating software and administering basic network functions. The successful candidate will be passionate about technology and the inherent challenges of taking something complex and making it a usable tool for others.

Child and Adult Care Food Program Specialist

4C for Children is seeking a highly motivated and skilled professional to join the Quality Programs team. The quality programs specialist will provide coaching to child care programs in both the Cincinnati and Dayton area who participate in the Child and Adult Care Food Program. The specialist will be responsible for building relationships with early childhood professionals, collaborating with other team members to meet the needs of the community as well as staying on top of the latest research and best practices within the field.

This is a full-time position, based in our Cincinnati office. The ideal candidate brings a passion for supporting those who work with young  children, primarily in child care centers.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in early childhood or related field; three years experience in early childhood education; knowledge of administrative systems and attention to detail is a must. Some evening and weekend work may be required.
