Welcome to The Balancing Act, your personal link to balancing work and family life. The Balancing Act offers you the most up-to-date information and referrals for child care and elder care. Whether you need help finding a child care program or assistance in finding a nursing home for an elderly relative, The Balancing Act can help.

Child Care Counselors offer a helping hand in finding and evaluating all types of early care and education, including child care centers, preschools, school-age care programs and family child care homes. Your counselor will be available throughout your search to provide information, answer questions and provide additional referrals when needed.

Elder Care Counselors offer a wide range of services for families who have aging or disabled adult family members. Local and national options include adult day care, meals on wheels and information on nursing home placement. Trained counselors will help you evaluate options available to your family.
