Registration and Information

Registration

  • Payment must be included with registration.
  • Check, money order, Visa or MasterCard are accepted forms of payment. Please make check or money order payable to 4C.
  • The workshop registration form may be copied and reused as needed.
  • Enrollment is limited; mail registration and payment early.
  • No confirmations of registration will be sent. You will be notified by phone if the workshop is full.
  • There is a $30 fee for returned checks due to insufficient funds.

Refunds

  • Payment is non-refundable unless the workshop is full or cancelled by 4C.

Cancellations

  • Emergency cancellations due to inclement weather will be announced on 12 WKRC-TV and the following radio stations: 700 WLW, 55 WKRC, 102.7 WEBN, 94.1 MIX, 92.5 FOX and 107 KISS. Online: www.wkrc.com
  • If 4C must cancel a workshop, you will be contacted by phone regarding the rescheduling of the workshop.

Schedule

  • Doors open 45 minutes before start of the workshop. Please arrive 15 minutes early.
  • All workshops begin promptly at the listed time.
  • You are welcome to bring food into the workshops at the 4C main office. Beverage and snack vending machines are available. Restaurants are not within walking distance. For workshops at other 4C locations, please call for information.

Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) Inservice Forms

  • To receive ODJFS inservice credit, you must sign-in upon arrival and attend the workshop for the entire scheduled time. Those arriving late will not receive inservice credit.
  • Upon completion of the workshop, participants will receive an ODJFS inservice form.
  • There will be a $5 charge to replace each ODJFS inservice form. Contact 4C at (513) 221-0033, ext. 1376 to request an ODJFS inservice form replacement.

IACET Continuing Education Units (CEU)

IACET CEU are pending approval. This IACET CEU is granted by the Ohio Child Care Resource and Referral Association (OCCRRA) through 4C. OCCRRA is a statewide not-for-profit agency that exists to promote the positive development of all children, especially in out-of-home learning environments. OCCRRA's membership consists of local resource and referral agencies providing services to families, early childhood professionals, and communities in every county throughout the state.

  • CEU processing fee is $10 per registrant per workshop.
  • Please arrive 15 minutes early to complete CEU paperwork.
  • Learning outcomes will be assessed during the workshop.
  • To receive CEU credit, you must attend the workshop for the entire scheduled time.
  • CEU is available unless otherwise noted.

Accommodating Children and Non-Participants

We are unable to accommodate children and non-participants at 4C workshops. 4C believes the care of children involves well-supervised, constructive play opportunities which are currently unavailable at these adult workshops.
