4C introduces new series to connect young children with nature

4C is introducing a new workshop series in Southwest Ohio to help child care providers encourage young children to understand and appreciate nature. The series will demonstrate how nature can support developmental domains. “Frequent free play in rich natural environments is vanishing at an incredible pace," says Julie Witten, 4C coordinator. “The 4C Early Childhood Conference recently encouraged child care professionals to bring ‘nature play’ back to our children, and this new series will continue to inspire incorporating nature into curriculum.” Sessions will begin in June.
